  5. About 1989 my `partner in crime' Oliver Paesler bought
  6. 200 Commodore Intl. shares. When the company went to the
  7. fishes and the value of the shares dropped to zero he had
  8. his shares issued and received the certificate pictured in
  9. the enclosed JPEG image file. The certificate was scanned
  10. on an old Epson scanner at 100 DPI, using ADPro v2.5.0.
  11. There actually are a few nasty moire effects which
  12. rainbow-colour the steel engraving left of the Commodore
  13. company name. These are not present in the original
  14. certificate. In case you wonder about the registration
  15. date (September 9, 1994): the certificate was issued way
  16. after Commodore Intl. Ltd. went into liquidation
  17. (April 29, 1994) when Oliver lost his hope that the company
  18. would eventually recover.
